Guys, if u do not have a voter card, you don't have to run
done the government office to get it done. Here are the simple steps to apply
for your voter-card online.
How to apply for Voter Card:
Step 1:
Visit the website for registration - http://www.ceoandhra.nic.in/ceonew/home.aspx (this is only for Andhra Pradesh)
Step 2:
On E-registration tab you have 5 options, select the
respective option (For inclusion of names in the electoral roll, you need to go
to Form 6) and then you can click any of the link.
If you are not from Andhra Pradesh you can use: http://eci.nic.in/eci_main1/index.aspx and then go for Online Registration Tab.
Step 3:
You have to fill in all your details here
(the column III is not compulsory). After you fill in all your
details click on "Translate" button at the bottom of the page.
Step 4:
Now go to the right-top of the page, select “Choose file”,
browse for the passport size picture, and then upload it (preferably, size of
the picture should be less than 40kB).
Step 5:
Now click on submit. If you have filled in everything
correctly, your application will be submitted and you will get a preview of the
Application (It is always preferable to keep a copy of the application or at
least the Application Id) else it will throw a pop of which fields have not
been filled up properly. Fill them properly, translate again and submit it.
Tracking your Application
Status:
Step 1:
Go to this link: http://ceoaperms.ap.gov.in/status/search.aspx
Step 2:
Enter the respective details and click on “Search”.
Step 3:
Once you Name is displayed. You can click on
"Status" and view your status.
Searching your Name in the Electoral List:
Step 1:
Go to this link: http://ceoaperms.ap.gov.in/Search/search1.aspx
Step 2:
Enter the respective details and click on “Search”. You don’t
have to enter all the details,
only your District, AC Name are compulsory. And search with
respect to the other filters (preferably search by Application ID).
